Norderstedt

The “4 Höfe Norderstedt” district reflects the history of the town: there were once the four communities of Harksheide, Garstedt, Friedrichsgabe and Glashütte, from which Norderstedt was formed in 1970. The Ochsenzoll was once raised in Harksheide, which is still commemorated today by the district of the same name on the border between Hamburg and Norderstedt. Glashütte owes its name to the glass production facility that was operated here in the 18th century. Garstedt was the wealthiest and oldest of the communities, Friedrichsgabe the youngest: It was only founded in 1821 on a piece of land that the Danish King Frederick IV made available for this purpose. Each of the farms stands for one of the old districts - the past of the formerly rural region lives on in the new, urban quarter. The unique site in Norderstedt-Mitte is in a quiet location, yet close to shopping streets, beautiful parks and the subway and AKN stations. In the northern courtyard at Heidbergstrasse 90 - 96, we are building 59 condominiums for sale. The buildings already constructed in the two courtyards 3 and 4 contain 83 service rental apartments for senior citizens and 70 residential units for publicly subsidized rental housing.
